My "Why"

 

I can sit here and type out all my credentials, and my experience for you to quickly skim through. However, my credentials and experience are not unique. There are many online and in-person coaches with similar experience and education as me. What is important is my why. So I'm here to tell you WHY I do what I do.

 

It started out with a constant battle of trying to find answers to my disordered eating and body dysmorphia. I struggled with food and my body image from the age of eight into my twenties. I was constantly looking for ways to feel better about myself, and gain a sense of control around food, never finding anything that helped. Until I sought professional help, where I learned it was about my mindset. I discovered Olympic Weightlifting made me feel strong and capable, which provided me with the core of my fitness journey that I can revolve the rest around.

Even as I moved into the world of Fitness and Wellness as a profession, I had to constantly work on discovering my why and changing my mindset. I learned that I'm truly looking for peace and happiness through every choice that I make, including my fitness and nutrition.

My goal as your coach is to help you discover your true why for your fitness journey, to provide you with the tools to succeed, and to encourage you to enjoy and value every step of your journey.
